The Chopper is a deceivingly heavy fitness tool. The patent-pending weight distribution of the Chopper makes the device feel heavier in use than its actual weight. We refer to this as the workload.
The workload is the magnitude of the force that a user would have to exert to hold the device still from a given place on the handle in a given position. The workload is larger than the actual weight because a user must balance the torque created by the distance between the handle and the Chopper’s center of mass.
The workload of the Chopper ranges from approximately 6 lbs to 16 lbs depending on where you hold the device on the handle. The farther away you hold the Chopper from the head, the heavier it feels. The actual weight of the Chopper is approximately 4 lbs.
The Chopper Pro is a deceivingly heavy fitness tool. The patent-pending weight distribution of the Chopper Pro makes the device feel heavier in use than its actual weight. We refer to this as the workload.
The workload is the magnitude of the force that a user would have to exert to hold the device still from a given place on the handle in a given position. The workload is larger than the actual weight because a user must balance the torque created by the distance between the handle and the Chopper Pro's center of mass.
The workload of the Chopper Pro ranges from approximately 9 lbs to 32 lbs depending on where you hold the device on the handle. The farther away you hold the Chopper Pro from the head, the heavier it feels. The actual weight of the Chopper Pro is approximately 7 lbs.
The Chopper measures 20.25 inches at its maximum length, 6.75 inches at its maximum width and 2.75 inches at its maximum depth. The width and depth are both measurements of the Chopper head.

We recommend occasionally cleaning your Chopper by wiping it down with a damp washcloth.
While you are able to travel with your Chopper and accessories in your carry-on luggage, it is at the discretion of the TSA officer to allow it through. Please feel free to share our website and social media with them if they are unfamiliar with our device. To not cause potential delays while passing through security, we recommend storing your Chopper in checked baggage if available.
The Chopper Wrist Strap is provided as an optional accessory for grip support. When in use, the Wrist Strap performs similar to traditional lifting straps by adding a dry layer of support between your hand and the Chopper handle. This is especially helpful as your hands become sweaty.
You can find an instructional video for connecting and using the Wrist Strap in our Start Guide. For any additional questions or troubleshooting with the Wrist Strap, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help out.
ChopFit and the use of the Chopper is designed for use by adults aged 18 and up.
